When You Love The Little Things

It’s week 48 of #littleloves hosted over at But Why Mummy Why?, and while I know I don’t join in with a post every week, I really do love reading everyone’s happy moments!

This week has been busy. Again. I’m coming to terms with the fact that my life is BUSY. What worries me is I think it’s only going to get busier!!!

So what’s been happening?

Work stuff. I’m sorry but it’s true. I’ve skimmed Elle magazine, I’ve read the Pizza Hut menu, but apart from that I’ve spent a lot of time researching art collectors and galleries for work, but apart from that nada. However, I did come across this on Facebook and shared it there and Instagram. As always The Fry is being very wise.

OMG. WELL. While I’m working, some of my to-do list is a little mundane, so I’ve found sometimes having Netflix on in the background is a good way of stopping me getting distracted. I’ve just finished LOST (on Amazon Prime not netflix – totally completed it in a free trial), and so when I asked Twitter what I should watch next back over on Netflix my friend Mollie came back with these suggestions.

I opted for The Killing. Mr Aimee and I had watched the first season when it was on the telly box, but unfortunately something happened, I think sky messed up as it always seems to, and we lost it and fell out of it, so I’m back with it and GOD IT IS GOOD.

It was one of my bestie’s birthday the other day, so we all went to the pub for dinner and a few drinks. I’m afraid I rolled out the double leopard print. #sorry #notsorry

I only need to say two words – Ella Henderson. (in my X Factor voice)

It’s been all about breakfast this week. Eggs mainly. Oh, and waffles and juice, and the odd slow cooker curry thrown in. Follow me over on Instagram to keep up with my latest face filling antics.

And Lastly…

The Christmas short story I wrote last year is currently free on Amazon until tomorrow! Dottie (the main character) is struggling to host Christmas Dinner for 19 people.  I am thrilled to say that it made it into the top 500 at one point this week…

…THANK YOU so much to everyone who downloaded it. If you enjoyed it, I would love you to write a review so other people consider it too, oh and if you haven’t downloaded it already you can do so here

Thanks x
