The Jubilee Weekend is fast approaching, and whilst the weather is meant to do another u-turn it’s still another chance for me to NEED new clothes. After all, Madge would want that.
Yesterday Honest Mum (one of my fave blogs – I want to adopt Papa G) did a fab Jubilee Inspired Fashion Picks Post…so I decided to
copy channel her inspiration and do a post myself.
So, for YOU guys, I have spent a little bit of time hunting the internet for my fave pieces which I think are perfect to celebrate all thinks British and the reign of the worlds favourite Queen.
I happened to fall onto the Warehouse website, and fell in love with this little beauty. In case you hadn’t guessed I love butterflies, and I thought this top reflected a quintessential English summer. Teamed with the wicked JBrand Jeans (I’d go for blue WHICH ARE REDUCED), and a pair of sandals sorted for a Beer Garden or BBQ celebration.
Next up, my new secret love. I’m a bit into Dotty P’s right now. I don’t know when it happened, when it changed from me thinking the fabric would melt if I stood next to a radiator, but recently I’m a little bit in love. This is a way of flying the flag without being obvious, or sacrificing fashion. I LOVE this Union Jack Scarf. It can go with EVERYTHING, and if it didn’t I’m darn well going to make it. Clashing patterns are in right? Anyway, I’m going to team it with a white t.shirt like this one and either a pair of black treggings and a denim waistcoat like the picture. Or some denim shorts. Just don’t tell Matthew.
As a salute to all things British why not attend your street party in this super cute swing dress, teamed with this Cardigan to fight off any chill. YES I KNOW it’s in the kids section but that’s one of the few benefits of being 5ft1. Flat sandals again are a must.
Or. If you want to be a tad more subtle, why not add some discreet bling to your jeans and t.shirts.
