When you’re tagged in a MeMe: What’s on your MP3?

I’m usually not very good at responding to these…in fact I’m pretty pants.  When I finally make it onto the laptop I usually need to brain dump why my child has broken my brain, but last night @tricky_customer (her blog is here – it’s inspiring, and makes me well up quite frequently) tagged me in the current one flying around.  “What’s on your MP3?”.  I’m not sure I should tell you this.  My taste in music isn’t cool.  It isn’t groovy, and it certainly isn’t “down with it”. But at the same time, I’m a bit addicted to my music on my iphone.  I often listen to the radio on it, however, I do have a million play lists (bath, car, running, cooking, cleaning you know the sort).

ANYWAY – I’ve pressed shuffle and here goes:

Fat Larry’s Band – Zoom

Only discovered when people kept telling me that “Fat Larry” was also a band, this song is one of my favourites.  I initally used to sing Ellie Goulding’s version of “Your Song” to him too, but when I’m not feeling too too soppy Zoom just seems perfect to go with my big little man.

Lily Allen – Who’d of Known

I really want to hate Lily Allen.  She irritates me in interviews, she irritates me to look at, she irritates me on twitter.  Her song lyrics should irritate me too, but her second album is ANNOYINGLY catchy.  This is one of my favourite songs.

Britney Spears – Stronger.

There’s was always going to be a Britters in there.  I heart her big time.

Leona Lewis – Bleeding Love

I know this song off by heart…I can’t help it, I LOVE Leona.  It is a song I sing lots in the bath, in the car, and even when running.  I have also been known to do a bit of the old “Leona Hand” whilst singing it, with my eyes closed.  It makes Matthew laugh, however, it makes everyone else cover their ears!

Gorillaz – Dare

I love this song, it’s a perfect one for running around and dancing and cleaning.  It’s also a fantastic running song.  It has an amazing beat and I have to say I think Damon Albarn is a genius.

Finally, I have to send a few special mentions out to Chezza – especially Promise This, Black Eyed Peas – Pump It & My Humps and of course The Cardigans Love Fool.

Ok.  I’ll stop now.  I tag:
