Is ‘Social Shaming’ the only way to get decent customer service?

I think it’s fairly well known that I’m a bit of a social media addict fan. I’ve always loved the online world, I just can’t help it. First chatrooms, then discussion forums. Then at one point I got the opportunity to review a load of social media sites for work, and that, along with smartphones (my Blackberry Pearl was my best friend when The Beast was a newborn) solidified my affair with the constant tie to social networking.
